Fire Evacuation Training

An important element in the success or failure of any emergency evacuation is the quality and regularity of staff training. We offer unlimited access to extensive training as required by you and the NZ Fire Service.

The nature of each training session is tailored to meet your business activity and building design.

 

Public Halls and Auditoriums

Several recent mass deaths at halls and clubs overseas have grabbed media attention; the findings revealed the tragedies were often due to poor safety management.

Fire Evacuation Specialists recommend that if a building has a hall or auditorium that can hold an audience in excess of 450, one or two designated persons are to be delegated as Safety Wardens. These trained Safety Wardens check the buildings safety features have not been compromised by people during any gathering or event. This ensures occupants can evacuate efficiently in an emergency in accordance with the Fire Evacuation Scheme approved by the Fire Service.
